We run your components on our machines, live, and hand you the report
The pre-sales motion I turned into a free product: a live demo of YOUR parts on our insertion machines plus a one-page evaluation report — yours whether you buy or not.

Every vendor says "trust us." I would rather show you. So in 2023 I turned our pre-sales process into a free product, and it has survived every sales objection since: send us your components, we run them live on camera, and you keep the evaluation report — whether or not you ever buy a machine from us.
Why a livestream beats a datasheet
A datasheet describes someone else's boards. Our YouTube channel (youtube.com/c/Smthelping) exists because EMS engineers kept asking the same question in different accents: _"will it do MY part?"_ The honest answer is never in a PDF. It is in a run — your taped capacitors, your bulk connectors, your awkward relay with the bent pin — feeding through a machine while the camera counts.
If you want the general case first, start with how China made the auto insertion machine — then book the specific one.
The three deliverables
- The live session. Public stream or closed meeting, your choice. We run your parts at production speed, verify polarity, and let your team interrupt with questions in real time.
- The recording. Timestamped, with your component names on screen. This is the file you show your plant manager without me in the room.
- The evaluation report. One page: measured CPH, accuracy, changeover time, footprint, utility, and a payback window computed from YOUR labor numbers. If the conclusion is "not yet" or "not this machine," the report says so. That rule has never been broken, which is the only reason the offer is worth anything.
What we ask for (it is small)
- Board file or photos of the insertion steps you want to move.
- A sample quantity of each component — enough for setup and a verification run.
- Your four numbers: insertion points per board, boards per shift, loaded wage, escape history.
- The formats you actually receive parts in. Tape, tube, bulk — we test reality, not the BOM.
Shipping is the only cost you carry. Everything else — classification, setup, the run, the report — is free, because a customer who buys after seeing their own parts run is a customer who stays.
The loop
The report is designed to be reused: it doubles as your internal justification memo, your RFQ appendix when you compare vendors, and your acceptance baseline when the machine eventually arrives. Most plants that take the demo never run a competitor's trial afterward — not because of lock-in, but because nobody else is asked to prove it live.
Your move: message me on WhatsApp (+86 13602562576) or write to info@smthelp.com with the subject "Demo my parts." Reply within 2 hours, first assessment the same day, and your samples come back with the report.
