S-1200-SV Pick and Place Machine for Large-Format PCB SMT Assembly
Extra-long LED tube and panel boards do not fit a standard mounter. When a 1.2 m PCB has to be placed by hand or parked on a machine sized for 350 mm boards, throughput collapses and the line backs up behind it. The S-1200-SV is built for exactly this shape: large-format SMT assembly up to 1200 mm long at 35,000 CPH, with visual mark positioning that holds accuracy across the whole board rather than just its centre.
The cost you haven't named
- Standard mounters reject long boards. A placement platform sized for 350×260 mm cannot accept a 1200 mm LED tube or panel, so the job defaults to manual placement or an outsourced run.
- Manual large-board placement is slow and uneven. Hand placing LEDs and lens parts across a metre-long board introduces row-to-row pitch drift and rework that a fast line cannot absorb.
- Centre-only accuracy fails long boards. Without visual mark positioning referenced along the board, placement error grows toward the ends, where lens and connector alignment matter most.
- Changeover eats the gain. Custom feeder sets and nozzles that only fit one platform force a rebuild every time the panel family changes.
The Four-Point Large-Board Placement Audit
1. Measure the board envelope. Record the longest board you assemble today and the one quoted for next quarter — length, width, layer count and flex vs rigid — so the mounter is sized for the real envelope, not the average.
2. Count the placement tax. Tally components placed by hand per shift on long boards, the rework from pitch drift, and the hours lost to a mounter that cannot load them. The cost repeats on every lot.
3. Verify long-board accuracy. Confirm visual identification mark positioning and the movement accuracy claimed across the full 1200 mm span, because end-of-board error — not centre error — is what trips lens and connector alignment.
4. Map the feeder and nozzle set. List LED, lens and connector families, their pitch and package, and the nozzles/interchangeable heads needed, so changeover stays a program load rather than a mechanical rebuild.
The vehicle: S-1200-SV Pick and Place Machine
The S-1200-SV is a high-speed placement platform for large-format PCBs, rated at 35,000 CPH with 4 or 6 heads and 360-degree orientation.
- Measure the board envelope → long-bed handling. It accepts PCBs up to 1200 mm long and 325 mm wide, covering single-layer, multilayer and flexible boards that standard mounters reject.
- Count the placement tax → 35,000 CPH throughput. Six heads placing at 35,000 CPH replace manual long-board placement and keep the line balanced behind the printer.
- Verify long-board accuracy → visual mark positioning. Visual identification mark positioning plus 0.02 mm movement accuracy and 0.1 mm placement accuracy hold alignment from centre to edge of a 1200 mm panel.
- Map the feeder set → interchangeable heads and feeders. High-precision interchangeable nozzles and customized feeders with a Chinese/English interface let LED, lens and connector families load as a program change, not a rebuild.
Specification note: exact head count, feeder configuration, nozzle set and throughput should be confirmed at quotation, because they depend on your board length, component mix and target CPH.

The loop: re-audit the board envelope each season
Long-board demand shifts as LED and panel programs ramp. Build a loop: each season, repeat the Four-Point Large-Board Placement Audit, compare manual-placement hours saved against the baseline, and review board-length mix with your process lead. When a new 1200 mm family appears, confirm head and feeder configuration before volume builds rather than running a setup sized for last quarter. The S-1200-SV's interchangeable heads and customized feeders let the loop stay a program load instead of a mechanical change — that is what keeps accuracy and throughput matched to the real envelope.

FAQ
What is the longest PCB the S-1200-SV can assemble?
Up to 1200 mm long by 325 mm wide, covering LED tube, panel and large-format multilayer or flexible boards.
What placement speed does it reach?
35,000 CPH with 4 or 6 heads, depending on the head configuration specified for the line.
How does it keep accuracy on a metre-long board?
Visual identification mark positioning with 0.02 mm movement accuracy and 0.1 mm placement accuracy holds alignment from centre to edge.
Which components can it place?
LEDs, lens parts, connectors and standard SMDs via interchangeable nozzles, with customized feeders and a Chinese/English interface.
Is it only for LED boards?
No — any large-format SMT panel up to 1200 mm fits, including single-layer, multilayer and flexible PCBs.
