Flux residue is a slow, expensive problem on many PCBA lines. Left on the board, it causes leakage, corrosion and field failures. Cleaned by hand, boards take operator time, come out differently shift to shift, and still hide residue under components.
The SME5600D Batch PCBA Cleaning Machine from Southern Machinery changes that math: a chemical wash, DI water rinse and hot-air drying run automatically in one key-press cycle inside an energy-saving, sealed chamber.

The Vehicle: load, press start, done
The SME5600D is a batch PCBA cleaner for boards that must be cleaned off-line with full process control:
- Load the basket — PCBA go into the dual-layer cleaning basket (610 × 560 × 100 mm per layer) and press start.
- 360° spray wash — upper, middle and lower rotation spray rods clean both sides at 30–80 PSI reference with water-based detergent.
- DI water rinse — rinse repeats 3–5 times automatically to clear ionic residue.
- Hot-air dry — air up to 99 °C dries the batch; clean boards come out ready for the line.

The 0.22 µm chemical liquid filter removes solder paste, rosin and flux microparticles so chemistry stays clean between batches. One-key operation means wash and rinse run by themselves — no operator babysitting between steps. Reference cycle: clean 10–20 min at 40–60 °C, rinse 1–2 min × 3–5, dry 20–30 min up to 99 °C. All values support initial evaluation and remain subject to final technical confirmation against your boards and flux.
